Wounded Warrior Bill of Rights

The creation of the Defense Health Agency (DHA) brought an end to the appeal process for wounded warriors, which is a 245-year-old tradition going back to George Washington.

The DHA is illegally and improperly enrolling wounded warriors into the Integrated Disability Evaluation System (IDES).

Bureaucrats are making decisions for wounded warriors instead of active duty military commanders.

The Wounded Warrior Bill of Rights will restore the proper chain of command by reforming the military’s active-duty medical separation process in each respective Service Branch.

Amending Title 10, United States Code, will establish safeguards and enhance existing protections for Service Members about to be enrolled into or already processing through the IDES.
